The only correct answer is the right INDUSTRIAL MATS
However, even the best product will not perform to its full potential if it is chosen incorrectly or is unsuitable for the conditions at a particular workstation.
It is therefore important to choose the right mat and position it correctly alongside production lines, workstations or machines.
20 per cent of workplace accidents are caused by slips and falls. Injuries to employees can result in absences from work, reduced productivity and even liability claims.
80% of employees who stand for more than 4 hours a day experience problems with their feet, legs and back, and are unable to work effectively.
A few facts about industrial mats:
- They absorb the shocks caused by walking and standing. This shock-absorbing effect reduces fatigue in the feet and legs.
- They enhance comfort – they insulate against the cold ground.
- They improve safety – ergonomic mats often have a non-slip surface, which helps prevent slips and falls.
- They help combat fatigue – they are designed to allow the body to sway naturally and imperceptibly, promoting blood flow. They help alleviate discomfort in the feet and lower limbs among staff who stand for long periods.
- The ergonomic design distributes weight and improves balance. The use of an anti-fatigue mat ensures correct balance and an even distribution of body weight.
- They help keep the floor clean – as they prevent dirt and dust from getting onto the floor.
- They improve hygiene – industrial mats are easy to clean, which helps to keep the area clean.
- Theyprovide sound insulation – ergonomic mats can help reduce noise by dampening sound.
- They protect the floor from damage.
- ESD antistatic mats protect against shocks caused by static electricity and safeguard sensitive electrical equipment from damage.
- They cushion the impact of fragile products, tools and other items when they fall onto the floor.
