A barrier made of flexible material that absorbs energy during a collision. The material is resistant to oils, fuels and chemicals, non-toxic, self-extinguishing and prevents the spread of flames. It is recyclable. The barrier is suitable for separating and securing pedestrian zones from vehicle zones with heavy traffic and forklift operating areas. The barrier has an innovative mechanism connecting the rails using a PIN plug and a special soft and absorbent seal.
