ASK ‒ ANTI-COLLISION COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The communication system can be used on three levels:

Level I. The basis of the ASK communication system is motion detection technology in the form of Doppler radar, allowing sensitivity settings for pedestrian vs. cart, cart vs. pedestrian, as well as detection of the direction of lateral movement and of an object moving away or approaching. The logic module communicates with locators and activates safety projectors to display a sign, for example when a forklift truck approaches an intersection.

Level II. Additionally, the system can be enhanced with precise position locators for forklift trucks and/or pedestrians based on UWB ultra-wideband transmission antennas for faster and more accurate real-time location data refresh for equipment assets and personnel. An additional advantage is the possibility of using the system throughout the entire facility, ensuring maximum coverage or triggering its operation only in strictly specified areas.

Level III. Enhancing equipment or pedestrians with tags, readers, and transponders, i.e. carriers based on RFID technology, together with matching UHF RFID antennas forming wave beams for precise detection of location and direction of movement.

The system is based on radio technology for motion monitoring, compatible with every forklift truck manufacturer. The safety projector can display any signs. It is possible to connect the system with an intelligent mirror, an automatic gate, and an audible signal.

The tool warns of collisions between trucks and pedestrians, contributing to:
