Premium 8/5 Wardrobe 60 min is the ideal solution for safe charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries and electrical devices. It guarantees fire protection for 60 minutes (confirmed in accordance with DIN EN 1363-1) and early hazard detection thanks to intelligent smoke sensors. Built from non-combustible and fire-resistant materials. 

Battery cabinet equipment:

• electronic smoke sensor (without audible alarm),
• technical ventilation,
• automatic power disconnection in case of overheating, door opening, or smoke detection,
• potential-free output for integration with an external fire alarm system,
• 12 V connector for connecting an alarm unit,
• power supply via a power strip with 9 sockets (3500 W, 16 A),
• lockEX technology with controlled pressure reduction – a special spring lock prevents the door from opening in the event of an explosion,
• lockable doors with a solid lock and hinges,
• advanced protection against fire and smoke – fire-resistant seals, a system preventing smoke penetration, thermocouples in the ventilation openings,
• a fan dissipating heat during the charging process,
• the ventilation openings have been secured with thermocouples

NO-BANG Technology

Based on a spring-loaded door lock mechanism, it enables controlled pressure relief inside the cabinet. Thanks to this, the enclosure and doors remain closed, and the protective effect is maintained – without sudden opening, without ejection of burning cells, and without danger to the surroundings.

lockEX 2.0 cabinets for lithium-ion batteries and rechargeable batteries have been tested in accordance with the current VDMA test method, dedicated to hazards associated with Li-ion technology. The test confirms that the product meets the highest fire safety standards and addresses real risks occurring in industry.

What does the VDMA test cover?

• simulation of ignition and so-called thermal runaway of Li-ion batteries,
• verification of whether fire, temperature, and fire gases remain inside the cabinet,
• assessment of the protection of the surroundings, infrastructure, and personnel.
