Fire-resistant cabinet for hazardous substances provides effective thermal insulation and protects the substances stored inside. It offers protection against fires and prevents the spread of fire in the event of contact with chemicals.
The stable and durable construction of the fire-resistant cabinet:
- made from galvanised steel sheet 1–1.5 mm thick,
- external finish: made of acid-resistant epoxy resin,
- Internal finish: made from panels with high resistance to chemicals and corrosive vapours.
Safety and fire resistance:
- air inlets and outlets fitted with certified fire dampers that close the ducts when the temperature exceeds 70 °C, in accordance with standard 4102-6,
- an automatic door-closing system that activates when the ambient temperature exceeds 50°C,
- Thermo-expanding seals ensure the cabinet remains perfectly airtight in the event of a rise in temperature, in accordance with standard EN 14470-1.
Contents of the fire-resistant cabinet:
- 4 storage levels, including 1 lower tray with a lattice structure,
- earthing, levelling feet,
- single-leaf right-hand door, handle on the left-hand side.*,
- a pallet base designed to facilitate transport,
- non-sparking hinges,
- key-operated lock,
- marking in accordance with ISO 3864,
- a design that allows spare parts to be replaced as and when necessary,
- Optionally, the cabinet can be fitted with a fan or a fan-filter unit in either the standard version or the EX/ATEX version.
